SMS, WAP, APP
The secure mobile solutions from mFunds give customers the flexibility to stay connected to their account while on
the go. With mFunds their financial information is always just a few clicks away, no matter where they are. There
are THREE mobile solutions that can be delivered to a customer’s mobile phone.
When a customer signs up, they will receive a text message with instructions and a link to the mFunds WAP site. The customer
must have a data plan included with their wireless plan in order to view the WAP site. If they do not have a data plan they can
continue to use our powerful SMS solution.
Our SMS solution provides customers with easy access to account information using any standard mobile phone device. Customers
can view account balance, send money, get money, and view transaction history - all in real time.
2. WAP Site - (mobile browser website)
Customers who have a data plan and a browser enabled phone can click on the link provided in the text message that was sent
when they signed up. Their phone will launch a browser and take them directly to the mFunds WAP site. Customers can save
the WAP site in their bookmarks for easy access in the future. The robust WAP site includes the following functionality:
Check balance, Send money, Load money, Refer a friend, mCommunications, View transaction history, and Spanish translation.
3. Mobile Application - (custom install based on mobile device)
Anytime a customer visits the WAP site we auto detect if the customers phone is compatible with the mFunds mobile application.
The mFunds mobile application is compatible with many phones including Java, BlackBerry, and iPhone. If the customer’s
phone is not supported by an app, they can continue to use the robust WAP site. If their phone is supported they will be
provided a link where they can download and install the mFunds bilingual mobile application. Once the app is installed they
can access their account real-time and enjoy the following features: Check balance, Send money, Load money, Refer a friend,
mCommunications, Pending payments, Bill Pay, View transaction history, and Spanish translation.
